they knew each other in passing. his best friend was dating her best friend, so events would overlap. though in the same room dozens of time, they barely had a conversation.
invisible string theory commences.
Couples who are connected via the invisible string will often “just miss each other” multiple times before they eventually begin to date. On an energetic level, the theory represents the fact that everything is divine timing, and all experiences are bringing you to the people you are meant to meet in this lifetime.
October 2022
a few years go by. Richard had just moved to Colorado a few months prior, living by those mutual college friends. Sierra had just taken a work assignment in North Carolina.
Sierra flew to Colorado for Halloween weekend to visit those same friends. and as fate would have it, and many whiskey gingers later, they started to have many endless conversations.
new years eve sierra gets a text from richard with flight information.
January 2023
Richard flys out to NC and takes Sierra on their first date. they stay in a cabin for the weekend in Asheville, nc and begin officially dating.
months go by and sierra moves to colorado. they will follow each other across the country for jobs two times.
January 2025
Richard takes sierra back to the same cabin for the weekend, where they reminisce on how magical of a little life they have created together.
he asks her to marry him on the back dock of the cabin, after convincing her to go down a hill in heels for a picture together.
sierra had prayed a lot for this day
and they couldn’t be more in love.
A Special Note:
after meeting Richard in October, sierras mom passed away unexpectedly in december. luckily she called her mom and gave her the run down after halloween weekend, where she was able to tell her that she thinks she met a boy that she might marry one day. so though they never met, she knew of him.
and this sweet man, knew how special she was.
So with help from her dad, he created the ring with her moms stone.
The ring already carries a lifetime of love from her parents, and she knows it will carry a lifetime from Richard and her.
